A planning method
Someday / Maybe
Ideas and projects you are not doing yet but do not want to lose, kept where you will see them again.

Getting Things Done
David Allen's Getting Things Done, first published in 2001, rests on one idea: anything you mean to do should be written down somewhere you trust, so your mind is not busy holding it.
Someday/Maybe
Not everything belongs on this week's list. Allen gives the things you might do one day a list of their own, Someday/Maybe: the language to learn, the long trip, the business idea. Writing them down stops them nagging at you and keeps them from getting lost.
In his weekly review, Allen reads the list through and moves anything whose time has come onto the active lists.
How the module works
A lined list, once at the front of the book. Add to it whenever an idea turns up that is not for now.
Read it every so often, and cross out whatever no longer appeals. Letting an idea go is as useful as starting one.
